The Yoga Teacher Trainees just left – after a full day of discussions, wide-eyed sparkling twinkles, laughter, confusion, note taking, eating, and yoga poses – I suddenly find myself alone. Still full of that energy, expansive and delightful – I am adjusting to this unexpected silence. Making my final notes, I put aside the tools of the trade, and I put aside the nostalgia of the day, which is already setting in, so quick and relentless, asking to be held onto just a little longer. I drop my shoulders. All those things we talked about, I now need to bring to my own practice, right here and now… just now…in this moment. Releasing the day. The day that was full and rich to the brim. Observing the desire to do something with that day, and knowing that all that could be done was already done. The only thing left – is to release it. Here goes…
