I started practicing yoga over ten years ago in an effort to speed up recovery after knee surgery and it evolved into a journey of self discovery. Interested in understanding more about the science and philosophy of yoga, I committed to level 1 teacher training with Francois Raoult of Open Sky studio in Rochester N.Y. This experience opened up a whole new world for me. In 2017, I went on to further study with Alex Bovkis of Shanti Yoga Studio who continues to inspire my practice.

As a teacher, I focus on bringing people together on common ground and on opening up the possibility of getting in touch with what we already have and who we inherently are. I offer a gentle practice with attention to being in the present moment and moving with awareness. In classes we explore the idea of generating energy from within and directing it in ways that deepen the experience of the practice, encouraging more confidence, focus and alignment.
