Dancer, choreographer, nature lover and Yoga practitioner, Rose has always believed in the healing power of movement.
Rose’s journey with Alex began in 2008, earning her 250-hour Hatha Yoga certification through Shanti Studio in 2015. Over the past two decades, Rose has co-founded various performance art projects, while offering workshops at several festivals throughout Ontario.
Through her Yoga teaching, Rose’s aim is to foster a fun, safe, and inclusive environment where students are encouraged to let go, be themselves, and find their joy. Rose’s classes are a combination of dynamic Asana and Chakra energy work. Her studies in Ayurvedic Medicine and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy are also of influence. Rose’s approach aims to dissolve the barrier between “beginner” and “advanced” levels. With this in mind, variations and modifications are provided, while students are invited to tap into the sensorial aspects of their Yoga practice.
Rose is thankful and excited to be offering Yoga at Shanti Studio, where she hopes to support folks on their path toward ultimate health and wellness. In her leisure time, Rose can be found forest bathing, cuddling with her cat Zoe, or relaxing with soft music, a warm tea and a good book.
