After moving back to her hometown of Hamilton in 2012, Min was looking for a physical activity to relieve stress and become more present. At the suggestion of her cousin who practiced yoga at Shanti Yoga Studio, Min decided to try it and after just one class was completely fascinated. She started attending classes regularly and grew so interested in yoga that she enrolled in the Teacher Training program. What she discovered was that yoga is a way of life, a way to the true self – a transformation. Under the instruction and guidance of Alex Bovkis, Min received her certificate to teach Hatha yoga in 2015.
Min focuses on gentle stretching, breath awareness and body alignment in foundational postures. Bringing positivity and encouragement to her students, Min’s classes are ideal for those who are interested in exploring the various benefits of yoga practice to balance body and mind.
